Treatment Solutions For Acne
Acne is a common skin condition thought to be triggered by hormone imbalances that lead to over production of sebum in the skin, causing blocked pores, spots and painful swellings. This can be an embarrassingly condition and is difficult to treat because it can be linked to a number of factors, but there are many treatments available both over the counter and on prescription that can help to alleviate the symptoms:

· You can buy topical over the counter treatments that contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid and these work to kill the bacteria which causes infection and also to prevent pores from becoming blocked by encouraging the skin to shed more effectively.
· If you have severe acne then you will need to see a doctor as there is a risk that it can leave permanent scars, and you may need more aggressive treatments such as oral antibiotics (Tetracycline is commonly prescribed), which can combat the more serious skin infections caused by the acne.
Guide To Safe Tanning
A lovely golden tan can help to even out skin tone and create a healthy looking glow, but there are many risks associated with sunbathing and using sunbeds, so it is important that you look into other safer ways to achieve a tan, such as:
· Bronzers – these are sunless products that come in several forms such as powders, creams and lotions, and literally ‘dye’ the skin so that it takes on a healthy tanned glow. Bronzers can be difficult to apply evenly, and you will need to make sure you have smooth, moisturised skin before you apply these products, but when applied correctly they can give a very convincing tanned effect.
· Spray Tans – these are applied in tanning booths and by specialist beauticians and give a much smoother, more evenly applied effect than bronzing powders, creams and lotions.
· Tanning Accelerators – this no solid scientific proof as yet to suggest that tanning accelerators are effective at giving the skin a natural looking tan, and many tanning pills contain ingredients that have not yet been tested thoroughly for their effects on the body, so its best to avoid tanning accelerators and spend your money on a more reliable method of tanning.
