Basic Guide To French Manicure
The French Manicure is a classic nail finish, and provides an elegant, refined look suitable for both day and night wear. Creating a French Manicure is actually quite easy and all you will need is an opaque white nail polish, nude or light pink translucent nail polish and a clear topcoat:
· Remove any existing nail polish, shape your nails and gently push back your cuticles with an orange stick. Massage over some intensive hand cream and leave for an hour or so to let it soak in.
· Carefully apply a thin layer of the white polish to the tips of your nails, dry and then repeat.

· Now apply a thin coat of the nude/pink polish all over the nail, allow to dry and then repeat if you feel it needs another coat.
· Once the nails have completely dried paint over with the clear topcoat, which will help to strengthen the nail and prevent the polish from chipping.

How To Get Great Looking Healthy Nails
Healthy, good looking nails are one of the basic beauty essentials, but it can be tough to keep your nails in good condition if you have a busy, active life. With just a few simple steps that you can incorporate easily into your daily routine you can help to keep your nails in top condition and these include:
· Nail Length – if you do uses your hands a lot then long nails will just break and split, which can leave them uneven and in bad condition. Shorter nails all trimmed to the same length will look much more appealing, and will also be easy to keep tidy.
· Protective Varnish – if you have weak nails then a coat of protective varnish can help to prevent them from breaking and splitting and will also give a nice, polished finish to the nail surface.
· Nail Shape – the modern look for nails is slightly flat on the end, with smooth rounded sides, and this give nails a functional yet feminine appearance. Shaping the nails into points can leave them susceptible to breakages, and also looks a bit over the top for every day wear.

How To Treat Eczema Of Skin
Eczema is a common but difficult to treat skin condition, that can be triggered by many factors such as allergies (dust mites and pollen and tobacco smoke in particular), chemicals, stress and hot, humid temperatures. Eczema can cause red, inflamed patches on the skin which can get very dry and itchy, and in serious cases the skin can crack and become susceptible to infections.
Conventional treatments for eczema include topical steroids that are available in creams and lotions and work by reducing inflammation and irritation, and can help give the skin a chance to heal on its own.
Antihistamines are also used, and these can help the skin to stop overreacting from allergens such as pollen, dust mites and chemicals. In serious cases of eczema where secondary infections have set in treatments can also include antibiotics, which help to combat the infection before the eczema itself is treated.
There are also some natural remedies that can help to alleviate the symptoms of eczema including evening primrose oils, chamomile and zinc supplements.

Different Skin Types
Normal Skin
Normal skin has an even balance between natural oils and moisture, and so is supple and plump without being greasy or dry. Normal skin can be affected with spots, but generally it has a clear, healthy appearance and will generally need less special treatment than other skin types.

Dry Skin
Dry skin is much less able to retain moisture than other skin types, and is prone to flaking and irritation. Because dry skin has a lack of moisture it can also be more susceptible to sun damage, and can age much more quickly than other skin types, so it is very important that your moisturise regularly, and treat the skin with intensive moisturizers when it gets very dry.
Greasy Skin
Greasy skin is prone to an overproduction of natural oils, which gives it a shiny, oily look and is prone to blocked pores and spots. It is important to wash your face at least once a day if you have greasy skin and gently exfoliate using a natural face brush to help unblock pores.
